Is HelpHub free to use?

Yes. There are no platform fees, so money stays between neighbours. Payments are agreed directly between users.

How is reputation calculated?

Reputation is shown as a trust score out of 100, based on reviews, reliability, and recent activity. Verified profiles and admin signals also play a small role. Read more.

Why are contact details blocked?

To keep users safe and avoid off-platform disputes, phone numbers, emails, and links are hidden before acceptance. Contact details are shared after a task is accepted. Read more.

How are reviews protected?

Reviews are two-way and stay private until both submit or 7 days pass after completion. This helps prevent retaliation. Read more.

What happens if someone cancels?

Open tasks can be cancelled. Cancellations after acceptance affect reliability, especially late ones. If a helper withdraws after acceptance, the task reopens. Read more.

What if there is an issue?

Report tasks or users from any listing and we will review it as quickly as possible. For non-urgent questions, you can also contact us.
