Why contact details are restricted until acceptance
We restrict contact details until a task is accepted to protect users, reduce fraud, and keep agreements on record in the thread.
Short answer: phone numbers, emails, and links are blocked in task posts
and pre-accept messages. After acceptance, contact details are shared in the offer thread.
Safety first
Fair agreements
Less spam
What is blocked
- Phone numbers, email addresses, and external links.
- Phrases like "call me", "text me", or "WhatsApp me".
- Contact info in titles, descriptions, offers, or messages before acceptance.
Repeated attempts may be blocked and reviewed.
When details are shared
- Once a poster accepts an offer, the thread shows contact details.
- Email is always shown; phone is shown if the user added one.
- This keeps the early stage safe and transparent.
Why this policy exists
- Protects users from scams and off-platform disputes.
- Encourages clear agreements on scope, timing, and price.
- Gives both sides a written record in case of issues.
How to coordinate safely
- Use messages to confirm scope, timing, and the total price.
- Share general location or availability before acceptance.
- Share exact address details after the offer is accepted.
